Esta ruta discurre, entre campos de ganado vacuno, dehesas y visitas a antiguas minas.

Nuestra recomendación es callejear un poco por el casco urbano de Colmenar del Arroyo y partiendo del Puente de la Fragua, nos dispondremos a hacer parte de la Senda de Navalmoral, donde también podremos visitar las ruinas de la mina del Nuestro Padre Jesús y seguiremos camino hasta enlazar con la Senda de Zarzalejo al Embalse San Juan, que corre paralelo al Arroyo de Valdezarate. La senda nos lleva hasta la instalaciones del MDSCC y de allí hasta la Ermita de Navahonda.

Es ideal para el avistamiento de aves y para apasionados tanto del toro bravo, como de la geología y de la astronomía, si la hacemos de noche.

No existe una época recomendable para realizar esta ruta, incluso en invierno se puede realizar, con el equipo adecuado, ya que el relieve es poco abrupto.

Existen explotaciones de ganado bravo durante varios tramos del recorrido, por lo que deberemos respetar en todo momento los consejos y la señalización que nos encontremos a nuestro paso.

Durante todo el recorrido disfrutaremos de un entorno magnifico, llevo de vida y especialmente indicado para los amantes de la fotografía y para los amantes de los GR.

This route runs between fields of cattle, pastures and visits to old mines.

It is ideal for bird watching and for fans of both the fighting bull, geology and astronomy, if we do it at night.

There is no recommended time to do this route, even in winter it can be done, with the right equipment, since the terrain is not very steep.

There are farms of wild cattle during several sections of the route, so we must respect the advice and signs that we find in our path at all times.

Our recommendation is to wander around the urban area of Colmenar del Arroyo and starting from Puente de la Fragua, we will prepare to make part of the Senda de Navalmoral, where we can also visit the ruins of the Nuestro Padre Jesús mine and continue on our way to link with the Senda de Zarzalejo to the San Juan Reservoir and which runs parallel to the Arroyo de Valdezarate. The path takes us to the MDSCC facilities and from there to the Ermita de Navahonda.
